Happy Tuesday to everyone, and also a happy birthday to yours truly! I turned 19 today and I had such a fantastic and magical day with all of my friends and my family here in Chapel Hill. I had numerous lunches with my friends, some fantastic dessert and tea at the Carolina Inn, dinner with my wonderful family, and topped it off with a party that I did not attend. Oops!
And now to fashion. Today I dressed up a little I suppose because I did have to go the Carolina Inn for lunch and typically they prefer dressy casual. Also, since today was my birthday I HAD to rock one of my favorite brands of all time, Burberry. Burberry has been around for such a long time, and with Christopher Bailey now at the helm as its creative director he is definitely pushing the brand in a direction to try to draw in a younger demographic. A perfect example of this is this shirt I’m wearing which plays on the iconic Burberry tartan pattern, but also livens it up with color and a great t-back, which I unfortunately don’t have a picture of.
