La Peer in LA: What a Stay

There’s nothing quite like spending some time in the City of Angels and enjoying everything the city has to offer! I come to LA a decent amount and I’ve found that my favorite neighborhood to stay in is absolutely West Hollywood. To me, it’s kind of in the middle of it all. Not far from Beverly Hills, literally right next to Hollywood, and in close proximity to so many cool clothing stores, coffee shops, nightlife, etc.

And during my most recent stay in West Hollywood I called Kimpton La Peer Hotel home! Honestly, I don’t even know where to begin with this hotel because there are so many things that I love about it!

To start, let’s talk about their gorgeous lobby and courtyard area. It is super spacious and relaxed and in a way kind of made me feel like I was in Europe for a minute!

It is the perfect spot for when you want to sit outside and get some work done or even just sip some coffee or grab a drink!

Speaking of drinks, that leads me to the bar area of the hotel. There is both an indoor restaurant with a great bar, Viale dei Romani, as well as an outdoor bar that is directly located next to the courtyard area. This flows freely into the lobby and really makes the space seem so dynamic and lively when the hotel starts to fill up from the freelancers who hang out in the lobby and the guests that return for happy hour!

After wrapping up the workday and grabbing a drink you will have to give in to the temptations of the gorgeous pool! There are ample lounge chairs surrounding the pool, as well as beach beds to take advantage of while you soak in the LA rays!

I spent a good amount of time hanging around the pool and working on my tan, while I was also working on some presentations.

After spending a few hours by the pool I went to go grab dinner and meet up with friends for a night out on the town! West Hollywood is a great spot for nightlife as I mentioned, and the location of this hotel makes it so easy to get to and from the various bars and clubs that are available in this part of town!

Flash forward to the next morning and I was re-charged and ready to go after sleeping in a bit later than I planned thanks to the ultra comfortable bed and black out shades that each room has!

I grabbed some room service, which was delicious, and made my way downstairs to the lobby for some extra coffee that they have every morning waiting for their guests!

I invited over some friends, as well as a photographer, so that I could grab some shots of the beautiful surroundings of the hotel!

As a content creator this place was essentially heaven! There are so many prime spots for photo opps that we just had to take advantage before we ventured out to have some fun in other parts of LA!

We explored some cool areas such as Japan Town, Korea Town, Silver Lake, etc. and came back after a full day!

Our first move was back to the pool to relax, take a dip to cool off since LA was very much still in a major heat wave, and make our way up to the rooftop to hang and enjoy the peace and quiet!

The roof area is great for relaxing and just lounging the day away. It is most ideal for having some drinks once the sun goes down and the temperatures drop, plus it has some pretty nice views!

All in all, I absolutely loved staying at Kimpton La Peer Hotel and had such a wondrous time! For real though, this is one of my favorite hotels in the city and I can’t wait to come back and stay again. The modernity of the rooms, along with its killer location makes it such a fantastic place for me to stay when I’m in West Hollywood! Plus, the pool is such a great space and I could pretty much stay there all day and relax!
